Responsibilities
I work on the Front-End Development team that is hard-at-work on improving the user experience on the Lonely Planet website. We are improving the infrastructure by implementing our new experiences in React and Node, using an api for the first time at Lonely Planet. I spend most of my day implementing new features in our new React universal app, but also support legacy pages that use ES6/handlebars and Rails.

Responsibilities
I worked on a front end development team that built and managed two web applications as well as the company's marketing site and blog. My responsibilities spanned implementing core functionality to making improvements on our existing code base. I worked closely with the product team to carry out business objectives in an intuitive way. Our applications relied on a RESTful API built in a Python back end.
